This is the Privacy Policy of InvestFox Pty Ltd (ABN  25 651 327 310). This Privacy Policy explains how InvestFox Pty Ltd (InvestFox) deals with privacy issues relating to personal information which is provided by a person or entity (User) who uses the InvestFox website (Website).

In this Privacy Policy Statement –

  • “we”, “us” and when relating to us, “our” refer to InvestFox and its group of companies contained in this INVESTFOX website.
  • “you” and when relating to you “your”.
  • The singular includes the plural and conversely.
  • The gender includes all genders.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our contacts, clients, suppliers and employees and complying with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act).

How we collect personal information

We collect personal information by various means including when:

Where practicable we collect personal information about you directly from you. However, we may have collected information about you from a third party such as a client, a third party information provider, a person responding to our questions, surveys or inquiries.

We are required to collect the full name and address of purchasers and vendors in sale of land matters where InvestFox is the stakeholder. Accurate name and address information must also be collected in order to comply with InvestFox trust account record keeping requirements in the Property Stock and Business Regulations 2014.

Collecting user’s personal information

We collect, hold, use and personal information in order to:

  1. respond to your enquiries;
  2. provide our services;
  3. employ competent and diligent personnel;
  4. monitor or improve the use of and satisfaction with our services; and
  5. let you know about our services that may be of interest to you.

InvestFox will not collect personal information about a User without that User’s consent and will only collect that personal information which a User voluntarily provides to InvestFox.

Consent for Image and video 

I give Investfox Pty ltd (ABN 25 651 327 310), its assigns, successors, licensees, legal representatives, employees and agents (“IF”) the irrevocable right to use my name/photograph/image/audio recording/video recording and likeness in all forms and manner (“My Image”) for the purposes of advertising, media publicity, publication, general display or for any other Company purposes in whole or in part, including but not limited to publication on internet web sites, broadcasts and any other publications as released to or by Investfox (“Publication”).

I waive any interest that I may have in the copyright to My Image now or at any future time and acknowledge that I am not entitled, nor shall in the future be entitled, to receive any payment or consideration in respect of it and agree to make no claim against Investfox for any payments for the Publication of My Image.
I understand Investfox cannot control unauthorised use of My Image by persons not associated with Investfox upon the Publication of My Image. I forever waive any right to inspect or approve any Publication of My Image by Investfox . I release and indemnify Investfox from any loss, damage, costs, expense, or claim (including consequential loss) connected with the Publication of My Image, including action for defamation, libelous material, breach
of privacy, or copyright.

Opting out of marketing communications

We may, from time to time, send you newsletters, invitations and updates about our services. You can opt out of receiving further such communications by notifying us using our contact details below by clicking the “unsubscribe” option at the bottom of any marketing e-mail received from us.

Security

We take reasonable physical, technical and administrative safeguards to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorized access, modification and disclosure. For example, we maintain our files in secure offices and limit access to personal information to individuals with a need to know.

Access/correction/updating personal information

  6. giving access could reveal evaluative information in a commercially sensitive decision making process.

If you request to correct your personal information, we will correct, or, if we consider more appropriate, note your request for amendment of the information on your record.

We will not charge you to make a request to access your record but we may charge you to actually provide access depending on the costs associated with obtaining and providing the material.

InvestFox and any Associate or relevant third party may use small text files called “cookies”: To enable more efficient browsing of the InvestFox Website;
